Rumpelstiltskin - Make Me Make You & Rumpelstiltskin heavy blues rock of 1970 If you are not familiar with this band, the summaries give you an idea of the talent that made two albums in 1970 and '71 do. These are the top drawer of the British studio musicians. Peter Lee Stirling [Peter Charles Greene, aka Daniel Boone] (vocals), Alan Hawkshaw (keyboards), Alan Parker (guitar), Clem Cattini (drums), Herbie Flowers (bass), Alan Parker, Herbie Flowers, Alan Hawkshaw and also worked as part of theBlue Mink for several years, and Hawkshaw wrote music for various TV shows and movies. Clem Cattini ended in one of the variants of Colloseum for a while, this great band from some of the best musicians in the UK at the time was involved, although, probably for contractual reasons they were not allowed to use their real names. Bassist and guitarist Alan Parker, Herbie Flowers were the main characters in this hard-rock band, with singer Peter Lee Stirling, who had been to the Hungry Wolf. Youreleased two albums rather rare in the early seventies and shared, with the various members are involved with people like Donovan, Sky, Lou Reed and Marianne Faithfull. Both albums were released on CD by Repertoire Records, a number of years and are certainly worth a visit.
