The fanged Pontianak and Malaysian Vampire Ghost in Gambas Ave was at dinner with my nephew and it turned into a horror movie adventure. I cooked fish and chips for dinner and it was props with a pair of torches, flowers, french fries and ketchup ... Shot with imagination. The children were there with so much fun during this strange encounter with dinner uncle. But seriously, on Gambas Ave. It's a pretty long stretch of road running from 9 to Woodlands AveSembawang Rd in a roughly east-west direction. Heading west from Sembawang Rd, there is a right-elbow-turn about 300 meters from the intersection. Shortly before or at the turn, there is a small lane on the left side of the road, and this leads to the Sembawng Hot Springs, to be accessible through Jalan Mata Ayer, a small street south of the hot springs. Had a "ghostly" encounter there years ago while walking from a mosque, Yishun, Woodlands Drive back to 72 during hungry ghost month. What is Pontianak(The Malay Female Vampire) There is a legend among the Malays of a female vampire or Pontianak that lonely roads, cemeteries and jungles in the vicinity of villages pursued.
